Stella Jean Open To Buy - Merchandising Management, Spring 24

In this project for my Merchandising Management class, I focused on the buying process for Nordstrom, a leading fashion retailer, for the Spring/Summer 2025 season. Using JOOR, a digital wholesale platform, I analyzed and placed a buy order, aligning with the retailer's target market and seasonal trends.

Commonwealth Proper, Competitor Analysis - Merchandising Management, Spring 24

My group and I conducted a competitor analysis for the menswear brand Commonwealth Proper. We utilized Edited to analyze the pricing architecture, product assortment, and pattern variety to identify the most relevant competitors. Additionally, we used WGSN and Fashion Snoops to develop our trend intelligence report. This research enabled us to curate collections tailored to top volume doors and mid volume doors of the brand.

GAP Consumer Insights, In Season Analysis, Trend Intelligence Report - Fashion Product Development, Fall 24-25

I conducted an in-season analysis for GAP's women's woven tops and bottoms. My role involved analyzing reports on Edited to gain insights into GAP's brand performance and its competitors. I also utilized WGSN and Fashion Snoops to assess current market trends.

Wimbledon White Space Audit - Global Marketing, Summer 23-24

During my study abroad term in London, I collaborated with a team to conduct a marketing audit for Wimbledon, a multibillion-dollar global brand. We identified a white space opportunity to enhance their offerings. After visiting Wimbledon, we proposed the introduction of Padel, a growing sport, to host tournaments during the off-season and provide members with a more casual and accessible sporting option. This initiative aimed to broaden Wimbledon’s appeal and engagement year-round.

White Paper - Presentation Techniques, Spring 23-24

In my Presentation Techniques course, I created a white paper for my term-long research project on how resale companies are transforming the fashion industry. Using Adobe InDesign, I applied my digital design skills to produce a visually engaging white paper that effectively communicated my research findings.

Collaboration Project - Digital Design for Design and Merchandising, Winter 23-24

In the course Digital Design for Design and Merchandising, I developed a new line for a collaboration between Rag & Bone and an emerging brand of my choice. This project utilized Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. I created and colored the CADs for the collection, gaining hands-on experience in the entire process of designing a collection from concept to completion.

White Space Project - Retail Operations Winter 23-24

For my Retail Operations class, my classmates and I identified a white space opportunity for Perfumology, a boutique fragrance store located in Old City, Philadelphia. Through extensive industry and consumer research, we developed a strategic plan to capitalize on this opportunity and enhance the store's market presence.
